For KPMP purposes, an early stage investigator includes the NIDDK definition of an ESI (
https://www.niddk.nih.gov/research-funding/process/apply/new-early-stage-investigators ), as well as medical students, trainees, fellows, post-docs, or anyone else wishing to pursue a career in nephrology, nephropathology, or kidney related science.
Please only select this button if YOU are currently an ESI under this categorization.
Are you currently an early-stage investigator?
Yes
No
When possible, PubMed will index KPMP consortium members as collaborators for "For the Kidney Precision Medicine Project" papers. Site principal investigators should be indexed as collaborators.
Please enter your publication name as you wish for it to be shown for PubMed indexing, and other publication purposes. Include middle initial if used.

Do you want to join the KPMP general mailing list in order to receive the weekly newsletter, the monthly Steering Committee agenda, and other consortium announcements?
Yes
No
KPMP work is done predominately through collaborative, multi-disciplinary committees. Committee membership is open to anyone, including patient partners, research coordinators, early-career investigators, biopsy operators, pathologists, co-investigators, principal investigators, and other study staff. Please choose committees where you would like to actively attend zoom meetings and participate in email discussion. Most committees meet monthly, though P&P and the adjudication committees meet more often. Please note the P&P Committee and Ancillary Study Subcommittee limit membership to ensure broad and equal participation across sites.
The image below shows the committee structure in KPMP. You can zoom in to the image by pressing < ctrl > + (Windows) or < command > + (OSX)
You can find a description of KPMP committees by clicking on THIS LINK.
The option " " can only be selected by itself. Selecting this option will clear your previous selections for this checkbox field. Are you sure?
Please select the committees you would like to be a part of.

KPMP maintains a directory of all consortium members to allow for contact between members and cross-site collaboration. Please check this box if you want to *opt-out* of being listed in the directory.
KPMP has several tools available as resources for consortium members. Digital Pathology Repository (DPR) - A slide viewer for KPMP biopsied kidney tissue. KPMP pathologists will need access to this tool. Data Lake Uploader (DLU) - Tool to upload data for KPMP consortium use. Tissue Interrogation Site (TIS) investigators and staff responsible for uploading data will need access to this tool. REDCap - Tool for clinical data entry and for reporting any KPMP issues with quality or process. Recruitment Site (RS) investigators and staff responsible for entering participant related data will need access to this tool. SpecTrack - Tool to track aliquoting and movement of tissue samples. Any consortium member responsible for tissue handling, or shipping will need access to this tool. CDCC Reports - Suite of dashboards and reports. Anyone in the consortium who has a KPMP signed confidentialiy agreement, and OSMB & DSMB members are allowed access to this tool. Publications & Presentations (P&P) System - Tool to facilitate the development and publication of research using KPMP data. Contains resources describing the dataset, a bibliography of published papers, and a submission portal for new projects. Anyone in the consortium who has a KPMP signed confidentialiy agreement is allowed access to this tool. Participant portal administrator site - Tool used by clinical research site coordinators to manage access for participants to the participant digital portal.
Consortium members will be added to Basecamp (KPMP's internal document & communication platform ) to access KPMP documents & meeting minutes based on their role and committee sign-ups.
